Dear Friends,   

Below is a warning from Cindy Jacobs for prayer to avoid another great depression.  I am taking this warning very seriously.  When the Morningstar Fellowship of Ministries held a prophetic roundtable in April in the United Kingdom, the first day of our meetings held many global financial warnings. 

The delegates from the UK and the US felt the Lord was warning His Church to be prepared for another financial crisis that would begin in Europe (whereas the housing crisis and after-effects began in the U.S.).  In today’s global economy, any crisis will affect nations around the world and not just the ones where it started, as we’ve seen since the Fall of 2008. 

I’m trying to keep this brief for you, but the volcanic eruption in Iceland occurred on the opening day of our roundtable, and that was also the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.  It made the headlines of the papers there.  (Think this could be a warning sign?)

What we know in the natural is that the economic woes of Iceland have affected all of Europe, and in like manner, the volcanic eruption halted air travel so that the business and economy of the whole world was affected.

 In addition, in the weeks leading up to the roundtable, the Lord had been personally telling me to watch Greece.  We knew Greece had trouble with debt, but I was shocked at how quickly the decline came following our roundtable.  Within a month, Greece spiked its taxes to try to meet its debt, and its citizens revolted.  Rioting began, and Greece headlined the news.

To me, this speaks of timing and how quickly things will come about.  We must be prepared.

The volcanic eruptions in Iceland have continued and the big concern is whether or not the larger of the two active volcanoes will blow.  If it does, the effects would be much worse than what we’ve seen with the first one. 

We saw the winds carry the ash from the volcano all across the continent of Europe, and the ash cloud came very close to the northern part of Africa.  It might even have gone farther than I’m aware.

Europe’s crisis became my crisis, because I was there when it happened.  I believe the Lord used this to underscore to me how inter-related we all are now.

The Body of Christ in all nations must stick together.  What happens in one area of the world affects what happens in other areas.  We must pray for one another and not think of issues as isolated to one region versus another.

Please read Cindy Jacobs’ warning below and pray accordingly.  Cindy is a trusted prophetic voice, so it is safe to pass it to others you know will pray.  As you do, please also pray for your brethren – brothers and sisters in Christ – that we will be ready for what may come. 

(1) First, we want to do all we can to avert crisis by humbling ourselves before God.  (2) Next, we want to make sure we are on God’s system of finances and putting Him first ahead of money or investments.  (3) Then, we need to do what we can to get out of as much debt as we can.  Ask the Lord how He would have you to do this.  There is no need to panic over this.  We must simply make sure the Lord is Lord over all our lives – finances too. 

Cindy’s warnings regarding America speak to individuals and nations as well.  Who isn’t teetering on the edge of disaster with today’s moral and financial decline? 

For 2010, the Lord gave me the following scripture as my cornerstone for the year:

The Lord gives a greater grace.  Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6 (NASB)

An Urgent Call for Massive Intercession 

Dear Believers in Christ,

A few days ago as I watched a news business channel, I received the following word from the Lord. As you can tell, it's a serious warning. I know the nation is in a delicate condition now, but I believe that I need to send this word out. I ran it by Chuck Pierce and he said that it fits with what he has been hearing, only more specific on the economic side.

This is a wake up and it's so strong.

A Serious Warning and a Call for Urgent Prayer

A warning received from the Lord on July 17, 2010 in Dallas, Texas:

A few days ago as I watched the financial news, the Lord clearly spoke these words to me, "The nation is teetering!" I then had a vision of the economy of the United States, on what looked like a "scale of justice." He then went on to show me that we must fast, pray and cry out to the Lord for mercy and solutions that will balance righteousness and justice.

In praying to the Lord for wisdom about this word, I realized what must be done—it is time for the Church in America to stand up and take her place once again in the nation. I mulled over the fact that we have already lost so many of our liberties and this is what I heard, "If the Church doesn't fast and pray for a faster acceleration of revival and awakening, the iniquitous sin structures in the nation will tip the scale that is teetering and there will be another great depression."

Of course, this word shook me to the core of my being. Many of you may be aware that the Holy Spirit spoke to me almost a year before the September 2008 economic melt down, that there would be "no more business as usual."

The balance of the economy is fragile and depending on the way we fast, pray, and how we cast our votes in the next election will depend on which way the scale tips. We must pray and do. We must pray and act. We must awaken the Church to the state of the nation without fear of pleasing man or fear for our reputation.

God is watching to see which way the die will be cast. If we shift the nation to Biblical values in the arenas of righteousness and justice, the economy will follow. If we continue in our stance of support for Israel, the Stock Market will stabilize and prosper, and that which is fragile will become strong. Supernatural solutions will be sent from Heaven that our natural minds could never reason, nor grasp and they will heal the land.

If we do not heed in this hour there will be a tumbling of our economy and dark days will be ahead to such a degree that our nation will possibly never fully recover from and have the greatness as a nation that God has favored us with for generations.

God have mercy. God send an awakening. God send salvation.
