In the midst of much searching for the keys to turn-around in our nation today, I am convinced of at least one key to change.

Michelle Obama.

If you were to ask me my personal opinion, it would differ from what I am about to write here, because I cannot see the way the Lord sees. However, I accept what I have been shown and thank the Lord for the prayer strategy.

Since Election Day, I have sought the Lord on behalf of our new President and his wife. I knew from the first day that God's intent was to reach the Obamas and bring about a sincere conversion and devotion to the truth. So, I began to pray toward that goal.

However, I also knew that we are dealing with some major opposition and prayer-as-usual was not going to get it. In my seeking, the Lord directed me to Michelle Obama. He used a familiar scripture with a twist. "The heart of the king is in the hand of the woman."

The Lord can reach our president and bring about true change in his heart along with a real devotion to Jesus, and the place to pray is for Michelle. Pray as if you were praying for your own mother. Pray prayers of life and love. Pray good for her and not evil, for the Lord loves her and says her heart is open to Him.

Pierce the heavens with your love for Michelle and Barack Obama. Reach through the darkness on their behalf. Stretch out your hand on behalf of our first lady, and watch the White House be changed.

We must never grow weary in well doing.

"Michelle Obama, we call you forth as the woman of God the Lord intended you to be. May you come forth as the dawn, shining brightly, and may you flee every trace of evil. We plead the blood of Jesus over you and command all deception to flee. We release the truth to Michelle Obama that she may walk in the truth of the Gospel, loving good and hating what is evil. Lord, we ask for Your ministering angels to minister the way in which she is to go. We ask You to remove every obstacle that would prevent her from giving her whole heart to You. We ask that You strengthen her in the innermost man and cause her to teach her children to love the Lord her God with all their hearts, all their minds, all their souls, and all their strength, and to love their neighbors as themselves. Raise her up to be the woman you've called her to be, devoted to truth and intolerant of lies and deception. Proverbs 31 woman arise, and bring glory to God. Arise, and point the way of truth to your husband. Be a strength and a blessing to him and to our God. Lord, do it by Your Spirit, and help us to pray fervently and effectively for the first lady of our great nation. We pray these things in the power and authority of Your Son who came to seek and to save that which was lost. Amen."
