Founders

Al and Tracy Schellhorn began Manifest Ministries in 2000, officially incorporating under the name “Manifest Ministries International” in 2001. 

Both were raised in traditional Christian churches and from an early age loved and served the Lord (because He first loved us).  Even so, life is a journey.  We work out our salvation with fear and trembling, and that is no less so for the Schellhorns.  The journey has taught them that peace is found only in the person of Jesus the Christ and the power of His blood – what we call “grace.”  The pursuit of an ever-deeper relationship with Jesus fuels their passion for others to know the peace that sets men free.

Spending years of study, prayer and service, Al and Tracy were mentored by the Holy Spirit while a part of their local church community.  This time of preparation brought them to the place where God showed them that it was time to begin the vision. 

The diversity they encountered on their own journey – both inside and outside of the church -- prepared the way for the unity in diversity which underscores everything they do.

Al, a gifted musician, excellent administrator and skilled overseer is the head of the ministry, although he prefers to take a behind-the-scenes position most of the time.  His devotion to the Lord, and his willingness to submit to the life-changing work of the Lord, is a strong foundation block for this ministry.  Without his submission to the Lord and the willingness to put Him first, it would not be possible for the ministry to do the same.

Tracy, a devoted seeker of the Lord, directs the day-to-day functions of the ministry and is the one you may first encounter publicly.  Being prophetic, a worshipper, and an intercessor with a pastoral heart, Tracy understands the diversity of the Body and welcomes both the artistic community and the conservative.  Ever conscious of the order of the Lord, yet ever free to follow the leading of Holy Spirit, Tracy provides a safe yet liberating environment where the Spirit of the Lord can reveal Jesus and set the captive free.

Together, Al and Tracy desire that the Lord manifest Himself TO His people, THROUGH His people and IN His people, so that the world may see Him and know He is Lord.
