The Marriage of the
Prophetic and Faith
(Warning: This article exposes plans
of the enemy to keep you from your destiny. Only read this
if you are open to seeing the works of the devil destroyed.
{ Acts 10:38 } )
Many in the
Church “cut their teeth” on the faith teachings. These
Word-based lessons taught us to elevate the Word of God
above the circumstances in our lives and place our faith in
what God has said rather than the “reports” all around us.
Good
teaching. Very valid.
However, in
application, many found that the very things they were
trusting the Lord for were not coming to pass.
This article is not
intended to explain why we sometimes haven’t seen the
results we were looking for. Instead, it is intended to
bring change NOW in our lives.
With each
seemingly unanswered prayer and unfulfilled dream or
promise, disappointment set in. Hope deferred makes the
heart sick (Proverbs 13:12).
As a result
of our disappointments, we have a Church riddled with
doubt.
It’s no
one’s fault. I draw a line on condemnation right now – a
blood line – the Blood of Jesus. We’re not here to condemn;
we’re here to set the captives free.
Who among
us has not at some time been held captive by doubt and
disappointment?
Faith is an
excellent foundation, and the faith movement prepared the
way for the prophetic movement. The enemy saw the
preparation and knew that to keep the prophetic movement
from reaching its full potential, he would have to cut it
off at the knees. So, where did he attack? Our
faith.
Faith is the
substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). Repeated
interventions of the enemy began to erode our hope. Without
hope – expectancy – there can be no faith. Without faith it
is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6) We were doing
what we knew to do, but the power was missing. Without
realizing it, there was no real hope behind our prayers,
words and instruction.
Again, this
is not to point blame at anyone or any teaching. I repeat
this, because the Church has been beaten up with accusation
about its lack of faith. You are not being accused of a
lack of faith; instead the plans of the enemy are being
exposed. He has intentionally targeted your faith, and in
some cases, he hit the mark.
You can
choose, though, to rise above his assaults and exercise your
strength again. We can do it together. A house divided
cannot stand. As His Church, we are His house, and whether
we know one another or not, we can stand – must stand –
together, for it is through unity that we are most powerful
and effective.
If one can
put a thousand to flight and two ten thousand, then the most
logical way for us to defeat our foes is to stand together.
Let’s do that now.
Agree with
me as we execute vengeance upon the thief who has come to
steal hope, faith and desire from you. He has come to steal
your very life, for life is not very interesting without
something to look forward to; you need your vision – your
destiny -- back.
I decree to
you right now that the Lord has not abandoned you! He has
come to give you life and that more abundantly.
He has plans
to prosper you and NOT TO HARM YOU – to give you a hope and
a future! His will is for you to prosper and to be in
health, even as your soul prospers. The Lord desires that
your soul – your mind, your will and your emotions –
prosper.
You do not
have to remain in that dysfunctional state of mind –
confusion, panic, anxiety, fear, overwhelmed, etc. You do
not have to relinquish control of your emotions to hormones,
chemical imbalances, past injustices or tricks of the evil
one. The answer lies in your will. If you will to agree
with the Lord, HE WILL bring prosperity to your soul.
I am
speaking words of life to you right now, so that you can
grab hold of them and pull them into your life – the power
of the prayer of agreement. I am releasing to you the
answer – the antidote – to the ills that have been released
in your life. You agree with the Lord, and He will put your
enemies to flight.
The
prophetic word has been weakened by doubt and
disappointment. This has been by diabolical design.
The Lord
wants to RENEW and RESTORE the strength of the eagles! He
wants you to rise up on the winds of adversity and soar to
new heights.
In the
process, He will renew and restore your faith in Him and His
promises. He is going to do it. You don’t have to do
anything but will to go. He will bring about the change in
your life by the working of His awesome power, if you will
only acknowledge that you need Him to do it and quit trying
to do it yourself. Let go of the reins so that He can reign
in your life!
This is not
a rebuke but an exhortation. Be strong and courageous. It
is time to possess the land!
Jesus is the
Bridegroom, and the Bride is His Church. The spirit of
prophecy is the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 19:10), and
we become His Church through faith (Romans 3: 21-24, 4:1).
Marriage: Prophetic + Faith
Therefore, to prepare for the wedding supper of the Lamb, we
must begin the preparations here for the feast of the
nations. The Lord, once again, wants to marry the prophetic
with faith, so that the great and mighty promises of God
will avail much power and purpose in the days ahead.
The world
needs a Church that can work miracles and bring hope. Begin
now to allow the miracle-working power of God to work in
your life and bring hope to the hopeless areas of your own
life.
Release your
pain, your sorrow, your doubt and delusions to the Lord.
Set Him free from your disappointment. Forgive the Lord.
Forgive yourself. There’s no one to blame. It’s time to
move on. We can’t stay in that place of trying to figure
out what went wrong. The cloud is moving, and we must move
with it.
Leave the
place of yesterday, and move into tomorrow.
Yesterday
was what used to be and what never came to be.
Tomorrow is
where hope is renewed. I WILL trust again. I WILL hope
again. I WILL believe again. I WILL step out again.
Yay, though
the Lord slay me, still will I trust Him! That kind of
radical faith will once again bring the Glory of the Lord
into the midst of the fire. – And if you don’t need it or
want it, there’s a world without hope that does. Step out
again for them, if you can’t do it for yourself. Be a
bridge of hope for someone who has no hope, and as you do,
the Lord will fill you with what you thought you had lost.
As you do
this, the dreams will come again and the hope will be
revived.
You DO have
something to look forward to. You have a prophetic destiny
that you have only begun to fill. Much, much more lies
ahead. Begin to believe that the Lord isn’t finished with
you yet. The best is yet to come!
